Facts 0n Malaysian Industries
Malaysia is a producer of natural rubber, oil palm and cocoa. A number of companies manufactures chocolate products in Malaysia. Chocolate can be classified as real and compound chocolate. The chocolate used for making biscuits, confectionery or other chocolate products must contain not less than 12 percent chocolate mass. Eating chocolate is a form of self-indulgence but it is also nutritious. Chocolate milk is not only tastier but also healthier than white milk.
However, today we depend on the manufacturing sector to achieve the economic targets of vision 2020. This sector is export-oriented and remains very competitive. The electronics industry began in the early 1970`s and today we are one of the leading producers of electronic products. Semiconductor devices make up the largest share of electronic components accounting for between 35-40 percent of total electronic exports.
We have established the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) in Malaysia because our Information Technology (IT) industry will be the text engine of growth. We launched of (MSC) in which companies such as Microsoft Sun Microsystems, and NTT of Japan, have started operations. This is really an evolving version of California` s Silicon Valley. Cyberjaya is a multimedia catalyst centre created for global research and development. So we have, over the years, gradually moved away from planting.
